Hi, my name is Crystal French, and I am the owner of The Beauty Artist! I am a Licensed Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, I am also National Board Certified by the AAM in Cosmetic Tattooing & Cosmetic Tattooing Education. I am a Lash Artist and Educator, Certified Dermalogica Skin Care Professional, and Licensed Cosmetologist. I have been running this business for almost ten years now, and over that time I have operated in several towns in Maine, starting in Bangor and finally landing here in the beautiful town of Bucksport. I am blessed that I have received a following of clients from all over this beautiful state. I am also a mom to a beautiful little boy and a very driven entrepreneur and educator. So in other words: I’m BUSY!

Through this career, I have found my life’s mission: Uplifting and providing a new sense of confidence in the individuals that I work with. My main goal is to have every individual leave my studio feeling more empowered and confident than when they walked in.

What we do in this industry goes so much deeper than brows, tattoos, lashes, skincare, makeup, etc. We are providing a newfound sense of confidence; helping individuals see themselves in the best possible light, eliminating insecurities, and helping people grow to truly love themselves inside and out. By applying my passion for art, human connection, and education, I have found a way to pursue all that I truly love into one career path. Working with individuals of all walks of life, I am able to create the change that people want and deserve; physically, mentally and emotionally!
